Hi All,

I guess guppies are on the way out! I just had an ex-coworker who's leaving the country give me his tank! Downside is that it came with 8 male guppies. And a hot pink substrate! Ouch!

The new tank is a 20G, with a Fluval 3 internal filter. A bit overpowering for that tank, no? Would it go well in the 33G tank? And does it need the suction cups? He just had it laying in the back corner.

Main question is, what do I do re: stocking? Should I put the guppies in with the other livebearers in the other 20G? I can move things around from the current tanks that I have, or get something new. I'm thinking a couple of nice schools, and a floor cleaning team...maybe moving the gourami pair from the 65G?

I'm open to all suggestions! Thanks in advance!

You don't like the :bowing: hot pink :bowing: substrate?

I would get another filter(AC20 would be my choice), change the substrate, add some plants and a few loaches/cories and keep the guppies in it.
JMO.
Are they pretty guppies?

I was thinking of trading the guppies for something not so frenetic. They seem a bit too crazy for my liking. And they're nothing special to look at, except the german yellow, he's really pretty.

Was thinking of trying cories this time.. what kind will stay small?

Most Cories stay relatively small so you should be ok with any of them.
