Its a 35g tank, 3' long, 1' deep and 23'' high.
Would have prefered a long tank, but £10 for the tank, stand, heater, light, filter AND air pump i just thought it wasnt the time and place to be picky. lol

SO i now have the tank, going to set it up to cycle tomorrow once ive cleared away some space in my room. I will import some media from my 10g tank and most likely put a filter sponge or two as well as some substrate into the new tank to help cycle it.

At the moment as far as looks go i am intending to create a moss wall at the back and sides, and use a dark/black substrate. -though i do like the idea of sand, its just im scared. lol
I intend to make a slate backdrop as well which i will craft some caves into.

So ... the point of the thread?
STOCKING.

I love, LOVE, plecos. - Though i am not half as knowledgable as most on the pleco forums lol.
I have narrowed down my wanted plecos to....
- Longfin Albino plecos
- Blue Phantom
- Crimson/vampire plec

Any comments on the 3? Id love to hear of other peoples experiences with them

In my 10g tank i have two angelfish and a female betta which make putting in other fish rather irritating at times due to their being territorial so i hope to keep this tank as friendly as possible so the fish i will be keeping the plecos with are most likely going to be....Shrimp, possibly guppies...though my opinion on them changes by the day ((They are just so prone to sickness!!)) and....mollies/swordtails. Unless others have suggestions, as my knowledge on fish is generally limited to those frequently mentioned on the general forums/and those fish that exist in EVERY LFS

Thanks in advance guys

You should definitely move the angels into the new tank. There's no way they will live comfortably in a 10 gallon for much longer. Their aggression most likely stems from the fact that they are tremendously cramped.

Of the 3 I've only kept the bn (ancistrus) which is what I am assuming you mean by "longfin albino". The biggest issue is that males will quarrel so no more than one with this tank size.

IMO the other two are on the large side for your tank.

Sorry ment to remove crimson from the list and replace it with Clown pleco.

The angels are still relatively small, about..3'' in height, and as it is only them, two red corals and 1 female fighter swimming they've plenty of space. when they've grown some more, granted they dont clash with the new setup ill move them. But i dont want the new tank to be built around a pair of fish i am not overly passionate of. They were a gift from my girlfriend; i do like the fish but i dont LOVE them...y'know?

I'd move the angels into the 30g. They'll likely be less aggressive and won't bother the plecs as long as you provide plenty of caves/hiding spots for them to be in during the day when the angels will be more active.

I would think either the clown pleco or the bristlenose would work. Like jpappy said, males will get territorial, and I wouldn't get more than 2 anyway with that amount of floor space. I have not had clowns (although my L387s might turn out to be clowns instead), but I did have 2 bristlenose fry that someone sent as a bonus with another order. Unfortunately, these 2 disappeared and I'm not sure if they got sucked into one of my filters, eaten, or what. They were much more active than my L387s and could be seen during the light period and would seem to eat quite a bit of algae. I wish they'd lived because they colors were quite nice and their activity was nice too. One was albino and the other was gray-black with small spots and white tips to the dorsal and tailfins.

You should move the angels now before it is a problem. They wont be comfortable for much longer. Angels are generally not that territorial until breeding time so I suspect any aggression at this time is due to them being cramped.

So if i move the angels into the bigger tank you think i could put in more or less any other fish that isnt territorial and is comfortable in the same perimiters?

i.e. a weak little guppy?
