New two small discus never eat from 5 days

Hello im in big trouble plz help

My tank is 35 gallon change 25% whater weeklly i have 3 angles from 4 months very peaceful with them and 1 tiger fish and 2 chinese algae eater and afcourse two new small discus they never eat from 5 days my temp was 26 to 27 but my friend told me i should have temp 30 now i brought a heater sos and install it temp is now 30, i try to feed them flakes , beefheart, bloodworms they even not look at food:shakehead: ....
 
wow, where to start.

unfortunately, your tank is not appropriate for discus.

you should consider a different set up .
or possibly return the Discus.
tiger fish?
the chinese algae eaters are a bad idea in a discus tank.

at any rate your tank stock is questionable at best.

while angels can be raised with Discus . the discus may be shy or scared.. add the chinese algae eater and they may be hiding.
the Angels may also out compete the discus.

your discus sound shy and after 5 days of no food you need to be concerned with their health.
I would at very least suggest you consider to set up a 20 g qt tank and move them to that for now.

you should know that Discus do better in Schools.. 4-5 is the minimum and your tank will not be able to house that many long term.

young Discus also benefit with daily water changes. up to 50%.
and very warm water. 30 c is about right. but could also be higher.. add an airstone to increase circulation as warm water tends to hold less O2.

Yeah its tiger barb.
my problem is i can have only one tank and i just love angles and discus, i wish i must have in my tank i can remove my 1 tiger barb and 2 chinese algae eater but my tank is planted (only 1 Anubias barteri plant now) and tank size is 36" X 18" X 12
so plz suggest can i have 3 angles and 2 discus together in this tank? and what can i do now discus are bit active at night but shy in day light still never look at food as they never need it or they never no how to eat :(
 
three angels and 2 discus..this tank will become overstocked.
discus need clean water? are the angels adults?

this tank is overstocked and the fish are a poor match.

discus should be in schools .

if you want discus you should read up on their needs.

you should consider a 55-75 gallon tank and up the stock level for discus.

a pair in this tank will be shy and as you can see..stressed.

discus know how to eat..if they are comfortable and not stressed they eat like pigs.

thanks for your kind suggestions i kept in my mind.
i just now make partition with a piece of glass in my tank and separate all other fishes in small area and discus in big area with heater.
they can look other fishes in glass, is this works?? :nilly:
 
I responded to your pm.

this is still not a good solution.
but better than you had..
 
THe glass thing is not going to work,the tank is too small.Best to take them back if you only had them 5 days.Their too stressed to eat ,quickly get sick if not already.

yesterday i just make my decision:confused: and decided to have discus only so today i kick out my lovely angles :headshake2:and all other fishes from tank and give them to seller, yesterday also i called him to arrange one more pair of discus SOS for me to provide schooling environment so he got my pair from big city (from importer) it almost double in size all 4 discus are alone in tank and i feel they are fine, new pair is very tired one of them is lay down for rest but bit ok in my tank now im providing them good O2 with water flow of airstone and pumps
 
Discus to not lay down to rest.
