I got a new Top Fin 55g kit from petsmart about a month ago. I upgraded from a 29g to this tank. It was an impulse buy :D . Everything is good so far
my question is am I stocked enough or overstocked? Ihave in my tank

3 platys
2 glassfish
4 gold barbs
4 cory cats
2 paradise fish.. they get along now pretty well, swim next each other and they look at each other. I'ts weird to watch.

1 Bala shark about 3 1/2 inch long.. i know they need big tanks but, didnt know at the time i bought it.

Can i add more fish? or is this good? BTW all these fish were in my 29 g.

One of the platys is one of my original fish that i had in a 5 gallon.

Suggestions would be great..Thanks

BTW my Gold barbs and Cory cats are interesting to watch now. The Gold barbs seem to play and the cory's scamper along the bottom and then shoot up to the surface then back down again. They remind me of vacuum cleaners.

I'd take back the Bala. You'll have to eventually and they like being in groups of 6 or more.

I'd add another nice school of tetras or something. Maybe 12 neons or so?

Get at least 2 more corys! :thm: The barbs like to school too right? You could fill out their school a little too. Beyond that, I'll let the xperts tell ya if its too much hehe. But I would definitely say you don't seen OVERstocked. I think a school of tetras would be a nice addition also..
