i meant a 10 gallon i wouldnt recommend any fish for a 5g but there are some that work. the reason small tanks arent good is because the ocean is a gigantic stable mass of water and the fish dont really know any major fluctuations in the quality so when they get put in something small the ph and temp change a lot causing stress and cutting the fishes life in half if not completely.
