Newbie needs advice

Hi am a newbie and need some advice.

Have a 60l tropical tank set up and have this morning added plants to the tank. The water has become cloudy as a result and am worried this may effect the fish or the ph levels.

Should I be worried?

Any help appreciated.

Is it cloudy from disrupting the substrate? I think it should be fine.

Could be.
All I have as substrate, however, is gravel.

Did you wash your gravel before adding it to the aquarium? Cloudiness shouldn't affect fish or water chemistry, it's just unsightly.
