I have a 5 gal guppy tank and Im looking to replace the plastic plants with real ones. I have a few inches of gravel and a 25 watt bulb. my water specs are:
nitrAtes (too high)
nitrItes 0
ph 7.4
hardness (approx) 120 ppm

any suggestions on what to get?
thanks!

Ludwegia Repens and/or Rotala Indica are two nice, small leaved stem plants that would look nice in a small tank.
Short varieties of Cryptocoryne in front of them.
Are you experiencing any algae issues currently?

JoJo my golden algae eater seems to keep my algae under controll, but there are green stains on the side of my acrilic (sp?) tank from it. are those fairly easy plants for beginners?

thanks!
