nitrite test

ok i did another nitrite test last night. for the first minute the colour of the vial was a very light pink (which is awesome) but then just suddenly turned to a darker colour (which sucks).

will this cycle ever end?
 
Well i finally went to the lfs. According to them there were no nitrites at all in my sample.

So I did a 60% water change to lower my nitrates. Apparently my pH was pretty high because of the baking soda i was adding to my tank.

I then went about some 3 harlequin rasboras.

I am so happy that my cycle is finally over
