Non fish in a beginner tank?

The little African Dwarf Frogs cant' have very deep water if you tank is high then I'd say no for the African dwarf Frogs as they need to get to the surface for air quickly.
There are Albino Claw Frogs I think that's what they are called usually the same size as the brown ADF when seen in the store but they grow to be huge (unlike ADF which remain very small)so you could only keep one in a tank and feeder fish for it to eat, I'm not sure if they would be ok in a high tank though.
I had ADF up until my sister took them 2 months ago I had two and two Oto in a 10 gallon.
You need to pretty much hand feed them with a syringe (blood worms) as they are slow to find food and might starve, keeping fish with them makes this hard as the fish are quick and the frogs slow.
Just a little info on what I know which isn't a great deal..

a snail would be cool but I am afraid that if I get more than one, they are going to have babies and then im going to have a million little snails running around. happened to a friend of mine.

don't mix crabs with the frogs either. they will injure or kill them...not to mention eat all thier food before they can find it.

Well, you could just get one...
I had 6 of them and they never bred, but maybe that's a little strange. They would eat all my plants though if I didn't make sure to keep veggies in the tank.

But still! They are so freaking fun to watch!

Sometimes having a bunch of baby snails isnt so bad. If you have a cichlid tank, they will eat the small ones and keep the population of them in check.

What about getting a dwarf puffer, they eat snails and shrimps and things of that nature.
I think you can only have one dwarf puffer they are fresh water.
Or a larger puffer like a green spotted which require brakish or salt (marine salt) water again they eat snails...
I dont' really know much about puffers other than they have to pretty much be kept alone and they eat meaty types of food they are amazing though if you've ever seen them in the store huge personalities.
I think someone on here has a tank of dwarf puffers more than one but from what i've read they are best to be kept alone but if your interested you might want to head over to the brakish or salt water section of this forum and read up some one them :)
I think it's great you are putting so much thought into your inhabitants..

All snails belonging to the Genera Pomacea (Brigs, Canas etc) cannot self fertilize. It takes a male and a female to produce eggs. Females will lay eggs above the water line in a definite "clutch" Takes 2 seconds to remove and dispose of.
