OK, I just introduced co2 into my tank. The pleco has started a funny thing where it sits above all of the little bubbles and lets them build up on his head. Then, when they are built up enough, he jumps to the top of the tank (would probably jump out if it weren't for the cover) and then repeats the cycle. Is this classified as normal, interesting, or dangerous?

odd and I would say bad..

I don't know if it's a bad thing or not. But he might hurt himself bumping off the cover. I had a pleco, and at one time we introduced bubbles to the tank he loved to sit on it (hover over it). I think he liked how it felt, but he didn't rush to the top like yours is.

Well if he hits his head on the cover that could be bad. As for the bubbles, no idea. I'd say he's playing with them. My royal will randomly start to swim in the bubbles from my bubble wand for a few minutes, then go back to the driftwood. Some fish like bubbles I think...
