There has been a showing of considerable consternation by some members regarding the bumping of various threads simply for the purpose of bumping purposes. Because of the constant activity of bumping, it would appear that the urge to bump kind of like an instinct: People, when provided with an oppurtunity to bump, will do so.
Perhaps we could have an official bumping thread. Now, whenever the need to satisfy that primal urge to bump strikes, they could utilize this thread. That way, only a single thread is bumped, rather than many, and other fresher topics won't be pushed down ever further.
