Ok I was given alot of my africans. I never knew what they really where and I have started going to the LFS and trying to identify my fish. I can post up some pics also if you want. I reall need to know how these fish like to live togehter.

I have some yellow labs, red zebra (I think thats it?), Most of them look like those 2 but I also have two larger ones that I dont know what they are. Ill try to snap some pics and put them up.

One of the other ones is white, almost like a pearl white.

Also one of the bigger ones looks like this but is mostly blue instead of the white.

Also most (i think all but one) have the little spots on the lower rear fin.

The little spots on the anal fin are called 'eggspots' and mostly all male mbuna will have them, sometimes females too, and a few haps do as well.

Yes posting pics will help a lot in IDing your fish... you can also try posting them on http://www.malawimayhem.com because there are lots more african eyes there that can help you ;)
