OMG! Fish Torture! :(

custom-fish-tank.jpeg

that one looks kinda neat.
aparently you havnt seem the 1.4 gallon tanks that look like flatscreen tvs that hang on the wall from a nail.
How much is this? Maybe I can buy one.

You know, I never learn. It use to be every time this topic comes up (every month or so?) I would chime in. Well its been a while since I have, so I thought I'd chime in again to get flamed.

I put bettas in 10g and 55g and they don't last more then a month or two. Even when they are in a 10 by themselves with plants. But yet in smaller tanks they've last over a year and build nests. I stopped keeping bettas, the time it takes for a small tank is almost twice as much as a large tank since I basically break the tank down once or twice a week and rinse the gravel, decor, and tank (or +75% of the water in my planted nano), so its easier to swap out 20g via a Python on a 55g.

Actually like the 2nd tank in the original post, I had two, one on the nightstand and one in a "service" window between the living room and kitchen in my old apartment.

Same tank different bettas about 2 years apart.

And a crabitat that holds about 2.5-3 gallons and usually 2 fiddlers(lost them about 2 months ago when I moved and they sat in the truck for about 4 hours), its a 12" cube.

In China, they use these cages to take their finches with them when they go to markets, parks, or out and about. So they can sit, drink tea, and relax while listening to the song bird.

I have a bubble bowl 1 gallon that i use to quarintine plants in or as an emergency if I must remove a fish for a couple hours till I get another tank.
