On grounding aquarium equipment

Swimfins

This is as good as it gets.
I have my 2 pronged filter, canopy light, and hundred watt heater plugged into an extension that has a third prong. Is it sufficently grounded?
I read somewhere that stray electrical current can bother electrical fish (like Black ghost knife) and am I sufficiently protected if I stick my hand in the aquarium? Or should I turn everything off when I do?

Have a nice day.

you're fine.

Make sure you have a drip loop from your cords to your outlet though, dont want any mistakes there

isn't that when you droop the whole cable down and then bring it up before the outlet so the water drips off before it gets the the wall?

yah
