Online - how long/met in RL?

how long have you been online and have you ever met any of your net friends in real life?

I'm just curious.


I've been online for over 8 years and have met numerous people in real life.... the most important being my husband who I met 6 years ago online and married four years ago.

I've been online for four years, and have met none of my online buddies. :(

I really want to meet quite a few of them.

Hmmm... I don't think I've been online for more than 4 years. I've met at least 5 people I knew online first (I just surprised myself with that number! lol). One guy I met at a concert. Nothing big- couldn't find each other for the first 3/4 of the concert (lol), talked briefly, took some pictures, that was it. Don't talk to him anymore, actually. 3 of them live in another state, I know them from a board I moderate, and I happened to be vacationing up there (and going right through their town). Again, nothing big. Had a great time meeting them and hanging out, though. :) The 5th was a girl who actually lives in the same exact area I do! We met at a concert not in our area, and I've never seen her since. LOL We don't talk online anymore either. Never hit it off with her, we just happened to be going to the same concert!

And, of course, the people I'd really like to meet I've had no chance to! :P
 
hmmmm...... I've been onine for about 9 or 10 years and never met anyone... well, not directly... my sister's boyfriend is one..... and just recently, she had a friend from another forum come over from Holland for a week. That was fun, she was really cool.

Ummm...10 years....And 3 or 4. I wish I'd been able to make it to a fish meeting down in Denver this past July, to meet quite a few more, but it didn't work out.
 
I have been online since the early 90's. I recently met Mr Happychem in a great plant exchange. But no one else that I remember.
 
Well, all I can say is that he is a very nice guy to talk with and he really enjoys fish. I am sure his girlfriend finds him very nice to look at.
