Online - how long/met in RL?

I have met lotsa people online before meeting them IRL, vut that is mostly because one of the forums I belong to a student forum for my school and I belong to my killi club's mailing list. From the regular fish forums I have only met a couple people, and that was at a show.

Online since '97. Met 3. The first, was NOTHING they proclaimed to be. The other 2 are tea card collectors, like me, who live in the same city. They contacted me through my tea card page. We have all got together at a mall a couple times for coffee and to talk tea cards, exchange cards, and look at each others' collections. What a geeky 3-some we probably appear to be, ooohing and awwhing at little 1x2 inch cards... we email about card finds, etc., but I wouldn't consider either of them "friends".

Well, all I can say is that he is a very nice guy to talk with and he really enjoys fish. I am sure his girlfriend finds him very nice to look at.

Oh, I'm sure his girlfriend does, too. As well as me!
