i want to take on a challenge in breeding, i do not have the tank space for breeding cichlids and already have bred most livebearers. i done find them fun anymore, so here is my question? i would like to breed a small colorfull fish. a tropical one, i have heard that tetras are dificult, waht other options would i have? small fish, what would be intermediate and small and schooling, what would be the requirements to breed in the form of tank size, Ph, light, temperature, i think i would be interested in corys maybe i thik they would be interesting but i am looking for a different more of a unique tropical fish, i just waht to hear your guys opinion and knowlege, got nailed and cdawsone but i am still confused iwant something that s more interactive than livebearers but not insanely difficult. thanks in advance :bowing:

I think Kuli Loaches would be fun. Or Red Tailed Rasboras could be fun too. Let me know what you chose and how it goes.

would you happen to know, in some extent, how to breed either of thos fish. and yes i think H. rasboras would be a choice of mine to breed, does abyobe know how too

Breed corys.

You asked about a tough fish so I said Kuhli Loaches would be fun. The books I have read say they are difficult but if you get the water conditions right for them I have heard that they will breed.

man, if possible, get a kiddy swimming pool and put like 5 mono sebaes, blah blah blah (my brackish water fantasies).......

but anyways, blue rams breed easily and are very beautiful/

Have you tried any kind of gourami?
