optimal tank size for crowntail betta?

anyone know what the optimal tank size for a crowntail betta? (with a couple of neon tetras)

I'd use a standard 10g tank. You could keep 6-8 neons and the betta.

If you definitely want neons, I would go with at least 6-10 of them. And as above a tank size of maybe 10g should be fine.. it may depend on what is in it (live plants and hardscape especially) and the shape to an extent too.

The specific size of tank may depend on the space you have available.

Bear in mind, Bettas can be problematic. Yours may or may not leave the Neons alone.
