I have a orange bottomfeeder about 6'' long. You can tell he is some member of the catfish family. He is 5 years old. I got him at a pet store and then the pet store went out of buisness. I have never seen another since. On time at WalMart ther was a poster of fish and it showed a picture of my fish. Some where in the name was Jo, because of that we named him JoJo. He is very very friendly, like a puppy or kitten and comes to the glass to be petted through the glass. Could someone tell me what he is. We are going on vacation for 4 days this summer and I am worried about what he will eat while we are gone. Can some one please help. Thank you

It could be a Golden Bristlenose, or Chinese Algae Eater or any number of other plec species. Whatever it is though, 4 days shouldn't be too much of a fast for the fish. They can usually go for a week or more without food.

Try checking out Planet Catfish You should be able to look through their pages and figure out what he is. Good luck!!!!!!
