anyone know how to design i mean decorate a oriental theme fishtank, how do you decorate a tank like the ones you see in the big asian restuarants? it would be appreciated i have a 20 gallon tank and i like natural gravel, or sparkly black gravel(which seems to be a mix of black and silver gravel) and i could be swayed to use red gravel a setup guidline on how to recreate this in my quarium would be appreaciated

I'm not big on Asian food, so I can't say how some of them decorate their aquariums, but Petsmart has some great Asian-style buildings in the decor section. I can't find them online, but I recently saw them at my local store. I don't know if that's what your looking for, but hopefully it helps.

As in the other thread, I recommend using WCMMs over Goldies for the reasons illustrated there...

I was going to recommend using oriental food take out cartons and empty soy sauce bottles as caves, maybe plant a stand of chop sticks. A decorative pagoda (sp?) and maybe, just maybe, if you were lucky enough to find one, a Hong-Kong Fooey figurine!!! Now THAT would be awesome!!!

But I don't think that was what you're looking for? :D

Beviking: If only you could see my face right now!! :O Chinese food cartons? eep!! That's.. um... creative? lol. I saw these chinese caste ornaments at Big Al's but I can't find the pictures online. They were priced from 8.99 to 34.99$. You could look into buying those?
