Oscar Color Change.

when fish change colors esp oscars it normally means that they are stressed or sometimes scared. and sometimes can be the first way to tell if they are sick if they have been that color for awhile

In the year and a half I have owned my Oscar I have never seen him change colors. I would worry about it.
My Trimac changes color when I feed. My Blackbelt changes color when she's pissed. My Festae changes color when I approach the tank. But the oscar.......never.

i woldnt worry 2 much but my oscar started off with color loss and he turned out dead but he had a swim bladder problem just feed him up good for a while with his fav food and do a few slow water changes and he should be right;)

my oscar is constantly changing colors. it will go from light to dark and back again in a matter of minutes sometimes. sometimes when hes trying to attack me through the glass hes so light hes almost transparent and other times almost so black you cant see the orange in him(hes at tiger by the way). ive been told be several people this is normal, other than if he were to get very light and stay that way for a while, then id be concerned.
