I have 3 semi-adult piranhas w/ 1 oscar and 2 pleco's in a 100 gal tank, The red bellies take some bites at the oscars fins' but nothing too serious. I do feed them apart, I lure the oscar to a corner with chichlid pellets and dump some frozen shrimp in by the power head for the piranha. They are even starting to breed.
On a side note,
I did put a smaller catfish in,
and they ate him.
So I would suggest only trying a fish of equal size, if not bigger
or odds are it won't survive.
