yeah actually just to make sure I shook it long enough I used my kitchen timer. it said shake the bottle at least 30 seconds, so I'd set the timer, shake, then add the drops. then it said shake the tube for 1 minute so I'd set the timer and shake for 1 minute. let sit 5 minutes, set timer for 5 and wait. no dice though.
the tetratest one didn't seem quite as easy (3 bottles and some zinc powder) but I'll be darned if I didn't get a result with it.
