I got nine angels slightly larger than a quarter maybe a month ago. They eat like pigs and have grown some but I thought it would be another month or so until I had to deal with this!

This morning I figured out I have a pair! They have chased everyone to the other half of the tank and started cleaning the filter tubes and a rock. Cool, I thought, they might actually....

Well , before I could even get the words out, there she goes taking practice runs! A few eggs pop out, he ignores her activity and continues cleaning. Only after she makes some 7-8 egg runs does he chime in. This is really exciting and fun for me!

I have an office show tank only. So I expect I am raising some live food here, unless I decide to take out the tube and start a fry tank. But I do not have any equipment or seasoned sponges or anything. I figured this might happen and had resigned myself to fry becoming food, but now tha ti am faced with it, my nurturing side is coming to the fore. Several other angels look ready to pair off, this could become a factory!

Can I save this batch or should I just start gearing up for the next spawn and forget this one?

I'd say start gearing up for the next one. It sounds cruel, but you aren't ready to raise this spawn, and you could get ready for the next one pretty well at this point...start the sponge filter in the main tank today! :)
