There are three different species of tetra that have the "rummynose" look. The firehead tetra , the false rummynose and the original rummynose. The following link tells you how to differentiate between the three.

Anyway...
I have seven in my 55. I don't know which species I have or if there's more than one. I'm afraid to examine them, because if I discover that I have multiple species I will become obsessed with having a school of each! As it is now, even in a group of only seven they are great schoolers, the best I've seen. They look fantastic in a planted tank. I have some other species of tetra in the tank and I'm seriously thinking about trading them in for more rummynoses. I've had mine about 9 months and they have all been healthy with great color.
