How can I ensure all will be safe with the fish for the day or two that the paint fumes are dissapating? My tank is a 120 wiht a glass top and a bit of opening on the back for the filters which consist of an Eheim 2260 and an Eheim 2213 (Its really a backup incase the big one fails which it really shouldnt). I also have a small Aquaclear 401 powerhead with a spong filter on it. I have no air pump or air stones. Should there be any problem if I'm not sucking any air from outside into the tank using an airstone? Still, some air will dissolve from the room into the water right? I mean it must... How will I do this?

I wouldn't worry. Modern interior latex paint might smell bad but the fumes are not toxic. It is highly unlikely that anything harmful will enter the water.

So if I just leave a window open, and stick to low odor latex, it should not be so bad? I was even contemplating doing one wall at a time and letting it dry... it would be a pain but I was thinking it would be less fumes at one time but of course it would end up being a lower amount stretched over a longer duration.
