So, I just happened to be walking by and I noticed that my rainbowfish was swimming along with a tiny piece of poop hanging out that to me looked bright red. Of course by the time I got close it was gone, and I haven't noticed it since. I thought I read a post on here one time that suggested this might be an internal parasite problem, so I'm paranoid. They do eat flake food with red flakes, so I didn't know if that was it or not. None of the fish appear to be doing poorly or anything. Are there any other signs I should look for? Should I treat with something just to be sure? I haven't added any fish in over a month; the rainbowfish was the last add-in and I think that's been nearly 2 months ago. I'm getting ready to move next week with them, so I'm worried if there is something wrong with them that will make the stress of the move even worse. Please advise! Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about it yet if you don't see anything more... the worms which have been making the rounds here lately are mostly camellanus and they won't 'disapear'. You'll see those hanging from the vent area. If you do a search here for them, you'll find liv2padl's excellent advice for treatment.
