I hope this isnt a stupid question.
What is the possibility of breeding a paratilapia Bleekeri with a Paratilapia Polleni or visa versa? They are amlost entirly Identical except for the size of their spots.
Also, In my searches on the internet I read a mention of 4 or 5 other Paratilapia that are simular or related to P. Bleekeri and P. Polleni, but I have never seen a photo nor any other info about them.
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with these other Paratilapia??
Thanks

Disclosure: I have no Paratilapia experience. However, I would be pretty surprised if they can't interbreed. From what I've seen, Paratilapia species appear to be closely related. I also suggest that you not do it. Madagascan cichlids are getting pretty rare in the wild, so captive stocks will be the source of most available Paratilapia. That makes it very important to keep the genetics as clean as possible, so producing hybrids would be a step in the wrong direction.
