Parrotfish

Does anyone know how to sex parrotfish? I heard that it is impossible to tell males from females unless they are laying eggs.

Depends how big your BPs are. I was able to sex mine after they got about 4" (and the time they bred). Males developed longer dorsal fin.

With BP's theres actually no real way without seeing them breed.My females had longer fins than my male.
