Peacefull Blue Fish

You already have a gourami. They are labrynth fish. They defend there territories very aggressively against other fish specifically other labrynth fish. The gourami you have might behave now but if you put another gourami in the tank or a betta they will pick on each other until one is dead. So do not do any gourami or betta.

I would suggest a Blue Guppy. Electric blue ram would work too. Maybe a Blue Killifish, they are solitary... Can't think of any more off the top of my head.

Ah, thanks. I did not know that gouramis were that aggressive. 1 more reason to not get another one. Betta never were really an option, I don't have luck with them.

I remember paying $15 for a pair of them about 3 yrs ago...Might be able to get just a male for cheaper than that if your store can get them. It never hurts to ask them if they can get them in stock.

Your talking about the apistogramma galaxis right? If I can find them and like them and think I can care for them, then I'll see if I can afford them.

If you don't mind a little yellow/orange with your blue, what about Bosemani rainbows?

No schoolers. I have actually looked into them, but they aren't really to my taste, at least, not enough to counter the cons of being schoolers and having yellow in them (i'm not a fan of yellow fish).

What about killis?
I think you would have to take the gourami out, though.

how about desert gobies not picky about parameters they like higher ph and are really lax and they have funny personalities i f you want some pm me ill give you a deal, google them they have a beautiful blue and yellow

not sure about this, but i think some rainbowfish are blue, right?

yeah, i think he doesn't want schoolers at all unless he really likes them

oh, never know rainbows were schoolers.

i think there is a double blue variety of dwarf cockatoo cichlid.

^Yeah, rainbows school if there are enough and the tank is big enough as most rainbows get at least 2" so they need at least a 36" long tank to school. If in groups of 6 or less, they are kind of scattered. Don't Quote me on this, this is only in my experience.:)
