One of my pearl gourami is sitting at the bottom of the tank, only going to the surface once in a while. Is this normal?

There is a stargate in my aquarium.
Not in my experience. Pearl are usually swimming around peacefully (unless chasing each other). Does his appetite seem off? Is he being bullied by the other fish?

how long have you had it? what are the other inhabitants? Is it eating, what size tank? What are your water parameters? any new additions?
