Perfecto Manufacturing hoods?

Has anyone heard or used their hoods? i was wondering if there were any major differences in hoods and if one was better than the other? I think AGA hoods are pretty nice cuz my brother has them. Any suggestions?

AGAs are a bit better then Perf. But both make good hoods, and tanks.

I bought one for a ten gallon and while punching out the areas for the heater and filter I cracked the glass... It was probably my fault, but it is pretty darn hard to do

yea i thought so. it's ok though i guess as long as it does it's job right? it seems to be pretty good. we'll see how it goes! oh and punching it out, i just used a pair of nice scissors.

I've always had problems with the light not working after a short while. The switches go bad. It's happened to me two of the three perfecto hoods I have.
