Has anyone ever bought a petco fish tank,. the ones that are $1.00 per gallon? Are they good tanks? Do you know what brand they are? I want to buy a fish tank but I don't want a piece of junk, I want a tank that holds up for years.

Just bought a 29 from them during this sale... I have yet to fill it, but it looks like any other fish tank to me... For 29 bucks... as long as it holds water, it's good for me...LOL

It is rather surprising other stores don't do it, or that Petco doesn't do it more often. Figuring that someone buying a new tank is expected to also be buy at least some combination, if not all at once, of; filter, heater, conditioner, gravel, decorations, fish, and fish food. It should in theory push a lot of inventory.
Here they are the same Aqueon brand that they normally sell. I bought 3 20's they look like good tanks. Make sure to check them out before you leave the store, there were a bunch of banged up ones and a few were cracked when I was there.
