petsmart?????price match?????

Made a purchase the other day at PetSmart and the Manager saw me going up to pay and was amazed I didn't have a printout for a pricematch!

I think they know me to well!
 
The Petsmart I go to always price matched...the only time when I had a problem was when I was buying the Rena XP2...it was almost 50% cheaper with the online price...so they had to call the manager. Other than that, I've never had a problem
 
The Petsmart by me price matched an online Ebay store for some black Tahitian Moon Sand. Petsmart price was $24.99, and the Ebay store was $10.99 for a 20 lb bag.
 
I have never had a problem with Petsmart matching the prices of thier own website. As long as you have the printout this should not be a problem. Ask for a manager if it happens again.

Does anyone know if they will do this in Canada since the online store is in US funds even though they ship to Canada?

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone have anything "official" that says Petsmart will price-match their website?

The only thing I can find on their website is this statement, which basically says that the stores are not required to price match:

Online Product Availability in Stores
In general, many of the same items offered online will be available for your convenience in stores. However, products and prices may occasionally vary by purchase area or method of shopping.[emphasis added]​
 
Yeah, we're supposed to price match everything i believe, although depending on the store/manager it will be matching all online prices no problem, others matching any price no problem. plus you have to have a manager to do the actually price difference (in most cases) so cashier may be clueless on how to do it. def. bring in a print out of the coupon/price if you want a discount though, my store has no internet access and as nice as i'm sure all people are, we're not taking a customers word for it that something is cheaper lol.

just wanted to confirm since this is an old thread-- before I go in there and cause a ruckus

The general consensus was that some do some don't. So I wouldn't cause a ruckus over it. My Petsmart does price match
