Ok my tank you can see below for size and stocking. I have had this tank up and running for a few months 3 or 4 all my Nitrite, Ammonia, and Nitrate levels are at zero but my PH level is always at like 8.0 or close to there give or take. This is just how our water is hear and the fish are fine and all for now no problems yet but I know tropical fish are suposed to be around 6.8-7.2 PH. No mater how much I treat the water it doesnt go down much and I know they arent suposed to go much per day as to not shock the fish with a fast change in PH. I can get it down some but then it's time to do a water change and I'm right back were I started high PH. I do a water change & gravel vacume about once a week to once every other week all depending on my schedual. Should I be concerned about this and if so how can I fix it short of mixing 12gallons of water or so and treating the PH level before I add it as I realy don't have the means for that at the moment. Thanks for any help you can give me.
