I am growing Diandra under 1.5WPG in a 125 gallon tank. I realize it prefers more light but my experience with high-light plants under moderate conditions is that they will just grow a bit more leggy or thinner than normal. My Diandra is actually thick and lush but seems to be rotting almost as quickly as it is growing. I'm wondering if this is normal. Does Diandra really respond this poorly to low light?

No, it's not algae. :headshake2:

Tank spec:
125 gallon
Temp 75 'F
NO3 5ppm
7.28 dKH
11.2 dGH (mostly calcium due to concrete decor, tap is 4.48 dGH)

Levels of both P and Fe are not detectable however I dose NPK and micros separately daily or every other day. The tank is less than two months old.

I'd try upping the amount of ferts, possbily doubling the amount, to see if that helps. At least we'll be able to rule out a nutrient deficiency.
