Yes I know, mine were extremely dull at first but now they are kind of good looking, but not at all as good looking as yours...
The male is about 5-6 inches and the female about 4 inches. They bred for the first time just a couple of days ago.
The worst thing is that I have convicts with fry in the same tank so it's like the world war three or something in the tank right now

My male is about 8" and my female around 5". Give them some more growing time and I think you'll see a difference. I not sure if this has any effect but my tank is acrlic. I used to have them in my 60 oceanic glass and I don't see much difference in color between the two, maybe a little.
