At first...before she colored up...she looked like H. Appenticulatus. Now she has colored up...she looks like H. sp. Rotkiel.

Blue Dempsey.

Carpinte 'Escondido'. The camera didn't capture his true color. He is more blue/purple right now. And he has been flaring at me like crazy... Oh...he is only 2.25"

did you get that severum from jeff rapps? bkuz it looks like 1 of the severums he had like a month ago.
if im wrong and if im right he looks excellent, i like the red oh his chest area and the black towards his fins good color combination.

Thanks for the compliment. She is one of my favorites. She is 5".

No...I got her at the LFS. Someone sold this fish to the LFS because she was getting too big.

She has great personality. She always wags her tail whenever I get near the tank...hoping I will feed her. When I open the hood, she will tilt her head up waiting for her favorite sticks. This was the reason I bought...her attentiveness.

I do have 2 Rotkiel juvis from Jeff...still growing out right now.

kool, yea jeff must just have the magic touch bkuz all his fish are top quality and always seem to be doing good, no matter who has them.

The BD and Carpinte were from Jeff. The Severum was from LFS.

All my Dwarf Cichlid and G. Balzanii were also from Jeff. I have 2 more juvi Carpintes need to beef up...also from Jeff. Only cichlids not from Jeff were some of my Severums (green and gold), Green Terror, JD, and Convict.

Here is a picture of my juvi Rotkiel from Jeff. This little fellow is hard to grow out. Very picky on food. His mate eats like crazy...already grew from 1.5" to 2.5".
