ive tried everything so far, and just cant get him to eat. he's new to the tank so that could be it, or hes just getting all the leftovers at night.

just curious what others had success with?

Mine eat anything that sinks to the bottom of the tank pretty much. Shrimp pellets, algae wafers, frozen thawed brine shrimp, mysis, bloodworms, and I wouldn't be surprised if they picked off some of the guppy fry that go in there as well. They're fishy vacuum cleaners.

Same here, mine get algae wafers, freezedried bloodworms, and whatever flake foos makes it down there. Little piggies :D

Try sinking shrimp pellets, catfish cant refuse them. My pictus can smell them 6 feet away (literally) ;)

My pictus cat ate 2 of my neons!!!!

ANd thats why he is back at the LFS

hmm

He is probably just adjusting to the tank. give him a week or so. The pictus' I had in my 10 gallon before I got on here would eat anything including flakes off the surface of the tank.
