Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and this is my first post here. And sorry if this has been covered before. I have a pink gourami that gets these bumps on his head that look like pimples most of the time they are white but this time he got one that has a dark center now when he gets them they don't seem to bother him in anyway and they last about a week or so and they are gone. then it will be a few weeks and he will have another one none of the other fish in the tank seem to get them - convict cichlids and one parrot fish. Has anyone else had this or is it just my fish. Here are a couple of pictures of what I'm talking about. THANKS.

Welcome!

How often do you do water changes and how much water do you change?

Readings in PPM for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?

I change the water and filters about every two weeks and I do not quite half on the water. I havn't checked the PPM's lately but I do use reverse osmosis filtered water with conditioner

Well, your gourami doesn't look pink or like a "pink kisser" so I'm not sure...it looks like a gold (a color form of blue gourami).

That said, some fish have sensory pores that may be visible, at least sometimes. It's not a big deal unless they get very red or very swollen...then they maybe infected with bacteria or something. Yours, to me, looks fine.

Ok, Thanks for the info. Like I said it doesn't seem to bother him I was just trying to see if anyone might know what it might be because I've had quite a few tanks over the years and never seen anything like that before.
