piranhas gars oddballs o my

I'm thinking probably not. What size is your tank?

it depends on tank size. Arrowana and piranha are illegal in some states, and arrowanna get huge. You going to need at least a 300 gallon for all of these as adults, and they will probobly kill each other anyways.

+1

Also find out what specific fish you want to keep. There are multiple types of arowana and piranha. The entire situation can change depending on which type of fish you are considering.

Can you even attempt an Alligator Gar in an aquarium? Would think their size would make any home aquarium horribly cramped.

It would eventually need basically a public aquarium sized tank or a pond. A Florida gar or similar would be a better choice. An oscar would not be a good tankmate for a Florida though because it would likely outcompete the gar for food.

hi i was wondering if the following could get along in my tank

1 silver arowanna
1 alligator gar
1 piranaha
1 oscar
thanks

You have a 10,000 gallon concrete tank?

In a 300 gallon you could possibly keep an arowana along with a spotted gar. Alligator gar are one of the largest freshwater fish in the world even if you see a real one for sale it wouldn't be advisable to purchase it.

Piranha are at best fin and scale eaters. At worst you'd have bloody chunks missing from your arowana on a daily basis. Also most are schooling fish that are shy when kept alone, think big neon tetra with teath.
Oscar, like was said, they are greedy pigs and would outcompete with pretty much everything else you listed.
