Plant ID

I went to a not-so-local fish store with a specific list of plants in mind, and I felt like I needed another stem plant to fill in the back left corner of the tank. I asked the salesman for a recommendation, but I have a hunch that it isn't fully aquatic. Does any one know what it is?

Kind of looks like the water wisteria I bought from Petsmart. Consensus was that I bought the plant in its emersed form.

Thanks for the quick reply! Glad to know it is aquatic, I was worried it would rot away and ruin the water.

Actually, a bunch of my leaves did rot away unfortunately.
