Swords are med light and need 2-3WPG. Right now you have less than 1WPG. Can you get more light for them? Its going to be about $80-100. In the morning Ill give you more info.

If you don't want to spend all that money on lights, you could go with low light plants: anubias, java fern, bolbitis, cryptos (still gonna cost you some cash though)

What do you mean about uprooting flowers from my garden? Should I do that an put them in my tank? The three plants that in my tank are in about an inch of gravel already.

I think he's being sarcastic in order to make a point.

Sounds like iron deficiency to me. I have a two gal with a betta in it that has a couple of live plants in there. I use a few drops of "Leafzone" whenever they start looking bad. It seems to work and the betta doesn't seem to care.
