I have a couple 55g that I'd like to add plants to. Both have a large fish population. I'd like plants that are easy to care for, have low requirements as far as substrate.

Colorful plants are a plus but nice green ones are fine as well.

Your thread landed in the Vendor forum....someone should come by and move it.

I would suggest you get some moss, some javafern, and some moneywort. They are all easy low light green plants. Very few red plants are easy and low light. Stick with these for now. I dont have any to sell you. But a few people are running some 'low light plant sales' in the marketplace: link

Plants do not always work out for people. I would suggest starting with some tough, low cost plants, and if they work out, they go for more variety. I would vote Wisteria as the toughest plant I have worked with, with Pennywort and various Vals as a second. It often depends on the water used in the aquarium.

I have some Caboma and some sort of spiral grass. Those have been going great. Of course Caboma is pretty hard to kill (just as our DNR).

It would be good to let folks know your light wattage and water temps. What types of fish? Folks here seem to want to help you but can only make general suggestions. If you narrow it down I don't doubt that you will find what you need on AC.
