I want to make my dad a planted aquarium for fathers day and i was wondering if anyone has bought plants from walmart or meijer and how much are they usually? i dont have a lfs anywhere near me

Walmart normaly doest sell aquarium plants. They are normaly drowing house plants. Also, you can not just get any old plants. You need to pick carefuly.

How much lighting is on the tank?
How big is the tank?

the lighting isnt that bright its a purple flourescent and its 10 gallons

oh and the walmart by me sells some but what type of plants should i look for and how much are they normally

Every Walmart that I have been in has had live plants and they are true aquatic plants. Usually If the Walmart has fish they have plants.
