platinum lyretail problem

i have 2 platinum lyretail mollies one male and one female and the female has jsut been sitting on rocks or on the bottom gilling. i also have tiger barbs and a rainbow shark but she never gets harassed. is she about to lay eggs? anybody know whats wrong?

What size tank? Water parameters? I take it she is gulpling. Are her gills red?

are you sure that she isnt being picked on by the other fish, especially the tiger barbs? how many of each do you have?

mollies are livebearers and will have (hopefuly) fully developed fry.

its a 55 gallon tank the water is great, there are 7 tiger barbs and one rainbow shark, her gills arent red she looks fine ive never seen anything harass them she just sits around a lot

when you say the water is great does that mean you have ammonia 0 , nitrites 0 , nitrates <20 ?

i would still do a 50% water change , and see if that has any effect .

also does she look fat at all? they behave like that before giving birth .
