How about glass fish?

These guys need to much room and would not do well in this tank. I would try still Heterandria Formosa or Bubble bee gobies but really not to many fish can handle a tank this small and those extremes.

Gobies would eat all of my shrimp.

What about my second platty question? I do have a lot of plants, and I don't want 20 platties swimming around.

I rarely see any sword tail fry in my tank, but I am sure they are having them. I assume they are getting eaten. I don't think it will be a problem, maybe have one survive every once in a while.
