play sand ??? anyone.

That does look good... I'm considering ideas for the autumn when I expand my number of tanks and add a couple of smaller ones.

My main community tank is natural-only- but I want to do something creative with the smaller ones.

The coloured sand looks nice- Something I've always thought about but never pursued.

ok guys...question.... how do you clean the sand? like after its in the tank and all...can you vaccum it? or what?

I love that blue !! that would look awesome with my powder blue betta. all I need to do now is get him his own' tank .. hehe , right now he is in a community tank . will be looking for another 5.5 soon for this project . I think the blue crayola is my fav. so far !! I have pool filter sand in a 10 & my other 5.5 works great ! I use root tabs for my crypts and everything booms in that tank , with 2 desk lamos over it and diy co2 :) ~~ sprial bulbs . I might just re-scape it, I was planning on moveing the fish in thier to the 55 grow out tank anyway :) ~ the cory's will have to be held in some other tank , hey I know the angel pair' tank, they dont have any eggs right now, so that will work ... sorry for the vents~ outloud typing here ... LOL ~~~~ Great looking betta tanks kali .

O, and is that pink plastic canvas I see as a divider ?? I have made 2 now with black plastic canvas, and poster holders. you can also use folder holders... mine are holding up pretty well ..

another thing abotu color and in teh tank , you can take ANY item that is safe' and spray paint it with krylon fushion paint , it doesnt hurt ANything in the tank !! i use it on all my pvc caves, and also I took a shower caddy thingy, painted it and use it to keep moss/ subwassertang, near the top of the tank to get more light :) But its great for diff decor, and comes in a few diff colors, mostly good to hide' stuff in the tank thow :)

The blue is actually blue/purple Crayola sand mixed, it is much more BLAH with just one color, lol.
