PLEASE HELP!! cLOWN fISH

My clown fish is acting weird. For the most part he seems healthy but he keeps laying at the bottom of the tank for 30 secs to 3 min. The water sample tested at 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 5 nitrate. The Tang and Coral Beauty are fine. Any ideas what might be wrong? Do I need to quarentine?

He could be stressed, or he could just be... being a clown - they do lie on the bottom sometimes for no apparant reason. If s/he shows no sign of parasites or other illness and is eating, and you can't find any other source of stress (newly added to the tank, other fish pushing the clown around, etc.) then I wouldn't worry about it too much. To quote someone from another site, "they call them clowns for a reason"
