:help:Need help with the ID of 3 cichlids. Can't provide pics yet so I'll attempt to describe them.
#1 - Light blue with 5 black stripes from top of back to 2/3 down side and a blue spot on gills. Black stripes will fade to become almost invisible and this happens frequently. No other markings on fins except when black stripes are present, the black color continues into bottom portion of dorsal fin. There are two iridescent blue stripes on forehead between eyes. Closest I can come to ID is female Melanochromis Johanni.
#2 - Identical description as #1 above but does not change color. Black stripes are presesnt all the time with same two blue stripes on forehead and blue spot on gills.
#3 - Similar to #1 & #2, this fish is medium blue with 6 black stripes that frequently become almost invisible. When this happens, body takes on a very pale yellow color. All fins, top, bottom, tail, two lower front bottom are pale yellow with black stripes and bottom rear tail has one yellow spot on it.
All fish are in a brackish 65 galon tank and doing very well. Any help with an ID is greatly appreciated.
